Young Lion celebrates city life and fosters a sense of place. The name is inspired by Rochester's early 19th century nickname, The Young Lion of the West, which refers to the city's spectacular gowth as America's first boomtown. The company was established in 2012 by Jason Haremza and Tanya Zwahlen to remedy the lack of merchandise celebrating Rochester, New York, and to promote Rochester and other Upstate New York communities as vibrant places, full of history, culture, and opportunity. Young Lion collaborates with local artists to develop contemporary, high-quality products.
From the piers of Charlotte to the lush gardens of Upper Monroe, all of the diversity and vibrancy of Rochester's many neighborhoods are celebrated in this four color screen print.
